Master of Business Administration

Engineers often become the primary managers of change within an industry. Having already obtained a technical degree, young engineers can quickly progress in their career it they thoroughly study the aspects of management.
Realizing this fact, VCE established the department of management studies in 2007 with an intake of 60 students.
Dr. N Damodar Reddy with 34 long years as teacher and researcher, heads the department. His standing as an eminent scholar is expressed by the fact that close to two dozen articles have appeared in journals of National and International repute. He is assisted in the department by equally able and eminent professors.
Two electives are being offered to prepare students to meet the market demands, in addition there will be two more electives – Management Information Systems and HR, which are much sought after by students.
Various activities like seminars, group discussions, debates, case studies and class room participation form part of the ambitious plans envisaged for these budding managers.
